The next piece in my Angels and Demons Series. The concept behind this one was to have to supernatural warriors throwing down their weapons and going at it old-school. Pure unbridled rage is what drive them. The angel with holy fury unveiled as he descends from on high. The demon with unholy vengeance unchecked as he ascends from the depths. They bring the pure elements with them: sky and light symbolize the angelic while flames and darkness characterize the demon.
I elected to go with black and white with this one as well. Symbolically it goes with the piece - black and white, good and evil, and overall it fits with my style of drawing.
I used a reference for the demon’s back - so yes, a person from behind really does look like that! Didn’t use a reference for the angel though.

your stuff is spectsculus(made it up just for you). im trying to design a tattoo for my dad around an existing tat. of o cross. the premise is of an angel and demon, with our family crests moto of “cursum perficio” in a banner, perhaps above the cross. and the angel is warding off the demon, protectin our family.

HEY JON, i think that this pic would be really cool colored like you described it up top, with the blue sky and maybe clouds with the angels side and flames and darkness on the demons side… whatever you decide i think that this still looks really awsome.

Hey. I would like to have a tattoo on the top of my back. Would like to have an angel and a demon, like a good side and bad side of me. But it must fit on the backs shape, it should not just be slapt on, if you know what I mean. Have an idea how it might look like, but do not know if it is possible.For example there is an angel on the left side and the demon on the right, but when you look from a distance it looks like there is only one “figure” like 2 Face. It is hard to explain hehe.

Hey, is there anyway I can get a copy of this picture without all of the writing on it without purchasing the print? As soon as I finish my right sleeve, the dragon on my left rib and the skull on my left pectorial (yes I have 3 tattoo’s in progress lol) I’m going to start on this piece. I’m going to talk to my artist and I think we are going to do this in color. I am going to have it spanning from shoulder blade to shoulder blade and neck to ass.
Oh and I don’t need the picture with the wings completed. I really like how everything is placed in your work so I’m just going to have the exact image for my tat. I think it will allow more detail to go into the angel as well as the demon instead of having to worry about spacing with full angel/demon wingspan.
