Caught In The Middle

This is a commision work that I originally drew as a tatoo idea. The idea was to have a soul caught up in between two warring factions - Good and Evil. Not knowing how to draw a soul I tried to make a wierd ethereal human wispy thingamajig. And of course two hulking beefy spiritual warriors about to throw down. Not too bad - couldn’t decide if this was Scrap material or real deviation stuff…This might be fun to color sometime - perhaps emphasizing the separation of the sides, with heavy reds and blacks on the demon side and whites and blues on the angel side. With some smokage/fog going up the middle….:D

Hey i was just browsing through websites trying to find a drawing to represent an idea of what I’m trying to get. This picture that is named Caught In The Middle is exactly what i was looking for. I’m going to get a tattoo that is very simular to this and I hope it comes out as good as this picture here. I really do like this one and hope you make some like this.

hey, very nice drawing. i feel that i myself am caught in between an epic battle always waging around us. I feel that I can’t escape nor decide between which side to fight for. I love this drawing, so much as a matter of fact that i am going to get it tattood on my arms.(of course if you dont mind) i believe the gentlemen above also felt the way i do(at least in a similar fasion) just wanted to say thank you for the amazing drawing for it was what i imagined in my head. But i am unable to recreate it on paper.

I love how you drew the soul. I think you should have drawn the two spirital warrior closer together; have them more intwined in battle with the soul squeezing up through the middle of them, reaching up like you have it. I don’t know though. Maybe I have the wrong out look on this.

Hey I was wondering if I could have your permission to use this picture and modify it slightly and get it done as a tattoo. I want to make the angel bright (like the new guardian) and the demon darker. Also I want the soul to be reaching toward heaven or at the top have the words;seek God. Hi Jon,
This is an awesome piece of art! I have been strggling to find or design a pic that is similar to an idea I had for a tattoo…I have now found something that is even better than I imagined!! It would be greatly appreciated if you would let me use this as a tattoo design idea. I would wish to add a little bit of colour to it, but otherwise leave it unchanged.
