Not a Bird, Not a Plane

Been sketching a lot to warm up for some angel pieces that are in the works. Here's one of the latest. I hadn't colored anything in Photoshop lately and thought I'd give it a try.

My usual Photoshop style of coloring just wasn't working out so well. I kind of hit the ceiling as far as creativity was concerned. I found a tutorial on dA though here that was phenomenal. Think I may color my future pieces like this...
