Fantasy
Another passion of mine is fantasy. Just the whole idea of a world that you can imagine up, with all sorts of fantastical and dramatic elements. Plus, the pitting of Good versus Evil, which is such a classical notion. That's really the core of why I like comics so much - and it overlaps quite easily into fantasy. The pieces below are draw/painted by myself. There isn't any theme other than they each fit into a 'fantasy' category. As always, I'm open to new ideas and commissions. Zulu Beastmaster
This is a piece that I actually colored! I did this with graphite for the most part. The background I was actually painted with acrylics - at the time I actually had access to some. Being a starved college student I do not anymore, =).
The idea was this - i thought about some African history and was musing about the powerful Zulu warriors. I thought also about European history - the knights rode horses - wouldn't it be cool to imagine Zulu warriors riding lions?? Especially since they are so often a symbol of power.

Dragon Elf
Bwahahaha! Finally - FINALLY - I have finished vampqueen's art trade! Sorry about the incredibly massive wait! =). But yes, this is my side of the trade with vampqueen1; she had this picture where there is an elf and a dragon (hence Dragon Elf), and the elf is holding the dragon by a leash. I thought, "WHOA! What a sweet idea." What if you had a small elven lady in control of this massive raging beast of ancient maniacal fury and fire! How sweet would that be?! I can imagine a whole race of elves which are called dragon elves because they raise and rear dragons, who become like really intelligent dogs to them. Perhaps not dogs...maybe more companions…
Magma Dragon
This is a piece I collaborated with ~Julianimator with. See his description of the piece here. I must say, Julianimator did an exquisite job with this. Beyond equisite - fantastic! I did the rough sketch for the outline and he took it the rest of the way, doin' it up in acrylic paint. See the original sketch here and you too will be amazed at what he did with it.
This is my first collab and it was great fun - thanks to Julianimator…
Varasha - The Fallen One
This is a sketch I did for 
for her character. I remembered everything about her except the boots - sorry about that! 
. Tried to give a go at the female figure - didn't turn out half bad! I'm feeling more confident now - perhaps i'll do some more women angels/demons!

I colored something! It's been a long time. Took some remembering, but some of my skills came back. I just had to be patient...
So this is the colored version of Varasha The Fallen One.

Rakko
Here's a character commission piece I did for ~Rakko-Cookie. Hope she likes it!! I got a very detailed description of the character, so hopefully I got most of her characteristics right. I did have to take artistic license with a couple things (like multiple ears & horns) to make it look okay, so hopefully that all worked out.

Dragon Elf
Here is the colored version of my original Dragon Elf. Check out the original lines here [link]I spent a lot of time in Photoshop (probably 6-8 hours ish total) trying to get this to look good. I marshaled my limited skills as best I could and put gave that Wacom what what! I'm fairly proud of the result. Started using a new coloring technique which gives me much better results than before.
